Well, I wanted to use a temporary skin during the promotion, but it's too much trouble right now.

My favorite skin didn't have a mood area . I looked and looked and looked... There are Naruto and Pokemon journals, and even a Vampire Knight journal and a Looney Tunes journal. But there's no Kingdom Hearts, no FF7, and no Zelda. ????? :sob:

Well, when I decide to go Premium, I'll make my own skin. CSS is easy enough.

Anyway...

Art update: ~enchantma's pic is done, and I have once again fallen in love with watercolor and ink. Did you know watercolor is amazing? It really is.

So! I did my first official toned comic page. But it was not the tone as much as the scanner that was difficult to figure out. Why is the quality so cruddy? I meant to not ink digitally, but I ended up doing a lot of touch ups on the computer.

I'm between Jane Eyre and Gulliver's Travels for the English choice novel assignment. I really don't want to read another romance, but I want the project part to be easy. And what's easier than a romance? Although, I learned recently that my brain doesn't process the subtle hints of romance novels very well and end up misinterpreting everything to be ten times less emotional than it really is. In this case, the simple fantasy of Gulliver's Travels would be ideal. But...

Eh. I'll probably end up reading Gulliver's Travels. Enjoyment over Easy Project.

Heart of Darkness... Hmm... I don't like it much. It could use some clarification. The glossary explains all the wrong things. A lot of the action is missing, too, and the point of the book is still unclear. It feels like a book handed to me for the sole purpose of having a book to write an essay about. Good thing I won't bother to take the English AP test this year. I got a 5 in calculus, and that's all I care about right now.

Talking about college stuffs, I have to apply soon...

Thanksgiving break... I have family coming over, and a pile of homework (that thankfully only involves one essay), so I wonder how much art I'm really going to get done? At least some touch ups and 5 pieces, I hope...

However, winter break is free, so I'll be chilling (pun intended) and hopefully finish up the main part of my portfolio.

(Almost done with my art competition piece! It's the splatter paint one I've been working on with passion. I've gone over most of the splatter with charcoal and pastel, though, so it's not an abstract any more.)
